This journey will begin and end in Lima, the bustling capital and economic force of Peru, where you will glimpse the reminiscences of a time when it was the most important city of South America, the City of Kings. Your discovery of the historical center of Lima, will be enhanced by a stay at the private guesthouse of internationally acclaimed Peruvian painter, Victor Delfin, a gourmet diners at ”Malabar” and “Astrid & Gaston”, and a cooking class with the chef of the “Malabar” restaurant.

From Lima you will fly to Cuzco, where you will immerse yourself in the heart of the Andes Mountains, home to a mystical ancient empire whose features are still coloring the rhythm of today’s life, and will experience the chromatic magic of a region whose natural beauty is stunning, its history fascinating, and its inhabitants so welcoming.

During your exploration of Cuzco and the Sacred Valley, with the expert company of your guide, you will not only follow the traces of the Incas by strolling through the streets of their capital and visiting their most impressive archaeological complexes but you will also gain insight into their beliefs, customs, and knowledge. During your discovery of Cuzco and in the Sacred Valley, your stay will be embellished by an exclusive VIP lodging experience at the “Casa Cartagena Luxury Proprieties” (cocktails, sauna access and gourmet degustation dinner), a sumptuous train experience onboard the Orient Express Hiram Bingham luxury train to the “Lost Citadel” of Machu Picchu, a weaving demonstration with a traditional community and a “Peruvian Paso” horse demonstration at a ranch.

From Cuzco, you will take another memorable train, the Orient Express Andean Explorer, en route to Puno and Lake Titicaca. You will be staying on the private island of Suasi, location of your hotel, the “Casa Andina Private Collection” 4* Suasi Island, where you will enjoy a private boat excursion on the lake to the Uros floating islands and the island of Taquile, and later, experience a “Pago a la Tierra”, an Andean blessing of the Earth ceremony.

From Puno, you will be transferred by land to Juliaca airport and fly back to Lima for a last impression of the capital, leaving for your international destination the following day.
